Will Howie is an award-winning Recording Engineer, Music Producer, Researcher, and Educator, specializing in multichannel immersive audio and orchestral music production. He is currently a JSPS postdoctoral fellow at Tokyo University of the Arts. Will holds a PhD in Sound Recording from McGill University, where he taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses in audio. Will has worked with such artists as Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, James Ehnes, Steven Page, Tafelmusik, Angela Hewitt, Jane Coop, and Tanya Tagaq.
