Matt has recorded several SEC Championships, ESPN Final Four and NBA All-Star Games and also helped score, edit & mix the original music for Braves Baseball in surround (currently the NBA theme).

Matt spent the next decade at Atlanta-based mastering studio, Rodney Mills Masterhouse, performing recording, mixing, mastering & editing on thousands of albums and singles for artists nationwide, several celebrating RIAA Certified Gold or Platinum status as well as Grammy & Emmy award nominations & wins. Some of these artists include the Beastie Boys, Eric Clapton, The Wallflowers, Local H, Collective Soul, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Matthew Sweet, 2 Live Crew, Sugarland, Candi Staton, Zac Brown Band, Keith Sweat, Gucci Mane, The Bangles, Sister Hazel, William Bell, The Oak Ridge Boys, Irene Cara, Michael Johns, Ruben Studdard, Soulja Boy, Amy Ray, Taylor Hicks, Drivin 'n Cryin, .38 Special, Ying-Yang Twins and thousands more. Rodney & Matt celebrated numerous Billboard #1 hits and Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 10 Reissues of the year.

Currently, as Senior Audio Engineer & Project Manager at Preserve South, Matt oversees digitization & preservation services, archiving historical audio collections with clients such as the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institutions, Jimmy Carter Library, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Atlanta History Center, University of Georgia, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, National Museum of African American History and Culture, Washington University in St. Louis, the American Archive of Public Broadcasting, and hundreds more. With Preserve South's recent buildout of one of the most advanced, high-resolution, multi-track audio archiving studios in the world, Matt is currently digitizing the audio collection for Austin City Limits, covering nearly 45 years of original, multi-track master recordings. Once complete, this collection will be archived in the vaults of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH. Matt is also currently overseeing the preservation & digitization of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s personal audio archive, consisting of thousands of historical recordings for the Atlanta-based Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change.
