I'm a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer and producer based in Virginia Beach, VA, who has been involved in numerous Latin GRAMMY-winning and nominated projects as well as an 11-time Billboard charting engineer (3 Times #1). Throughout my 43-year career, I have worked on countless productions throughout Puerto Rico, the United States, and overseas. I have worked with a diverse group of recording artists from many genres of music and continue to work for independent artists and labels. I am a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico and the Conservatory of Music with a degree in Music Education and Composition. I also have a BS in Electronic Engineering from the University of Virginia. I was also the first recording engineer instructor in P.R. in 1988 at the School of Music in Carolina. I started mastering for my friends in 1997 after almost 17 years of recording music. What began as a hobby and freelance work turned into a full-fledged profession. I am the Secretary of the District of Columbia Chapter of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), a member of the AES Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and an active mentor within the AES mentorship program. I'm a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, a member of the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, and an active voting member of The Recording Recording (GRAMMY) and The Latin Recording Academy (LARAS).
