Location: Zoom, Login info in description

Moderated by: Bill Schulenburg

Speaker(s): Brian (Bt) "Gibbs," Skyline Entertainment & Publishing/Tool Shed Studios

The St. Louis Regional (Professional) section of the Audio Engineering Society’s next regular meeting is on Zoom Monday, May 10, 2021, 7pm CT.

Every Spring, the St. Louis AES invites all graduates of audio programs to join us to be recognized for their achievement and eagerly welcomed to our industry via the Audio Engineering Society. This is a terrific opportunity to network with established audio professionals and make new friendships for the future.

This year, students are graduating into the new normal we are all experiencing as audio careers adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic’s long-term effects. Our Spring AES meeting will be full of great information for starting, maintaining, and adapting an audio venture.

Former AES San Francisco Chair Brian (Bt) Gibbs, from Skyline Entertainment & Publishing/Tool Shed Studios will be generously sharing his presentation “Moving Forward & Post-Pandemic Pivots: Managing A Successful Audio Business.”

The presentation was originally designed for new recording studios and record labels, but with so many audio engineers having to pivot in this post-lockdown era, it will also cover topics on right-setting your current business or reinventing your audio business.
