Summary

AES sponsored a Music Theory clinic with the help of instructor, Brian Burrill. He taught
the many students in attendance the basics in musical notes and how to navigate with
them. He demonstrated how to "spice" up common notes using a keyboard. A work
packet was provided to each student that included charts and problems for them to
solve during the duration of the meeting. The live sound room was ?lled with students
eager to learn about music theory from an instructor who did a fantastic job explaining
the concepts.
