Prof. Angelo Farina opened the session with a description of the newly developed 3D Virtual Microphone, based on a high-order Ambisonics microphone array; Luigi Agostini presented his view of 3D audio creative and deployment options, offering a solution for distributing 3D audio content, and detailed his 3D-EST spatial audio processors offering. Marco Giommoni talked about the aestetical aspects to consider when composing audio and musical content for 3D audio, and Marco Olivieri described his experience in deploying dynamic 3D audio effects and processing within a live concert by Arto Lindsay, and other events.
