Dr.Chris Barber, one of the Acoustic professors at Penn State gave a hand on tour of the surround sound system and live sound systems in the State Theatre, a renovated performing arts and film center. He gave a tour of the projection booth, as well as talking about speaker placement and design for the space. He demonstrated both the surround sound and live sound systems. He also talked about what acoustical aspects of the space went into the design of the space, such as how the air handling system is isolated etc.
