Summary

In an exciting meeting held on Monday, September 4th, all members of the AES-TAMABA Student Section came together with Academic Advisor Gustavo González to welcome students interested in joining our community and to present ongoing projects related to acoustics.

The event commenced with the engaging presentations of two of our very own students, Federico Gironelli and Bryan Aras, who shared significant progress in their research focused on characterizing the recording studios at TAMABA. Details about the challenges and discoveries in this project provided a fascinating glimpse into the world of acoustics within the recording domain.

Following this, Nahuel Orellana and Ariadna Trotta took the floor to highlight the advancements achieved in their immersive audio project, on which they have been working with enthusiasm. This initiative, centered around creating immersive sound experiences, promises to be an exciting field of study for those interested in auditory exploration.

Last but certainly not least, our Faculty Advisor encouraged and extended a warm invitation to new students to join us, share their ideas, propose new projects, and actively collaborate in the creation of fresh initiatives. This call to action underscores the spirit of community and collaboration that defines AES-TAMABA.

In summary, the meeting on September 4th was not just an informative event but also a call to action for all students interested in immersing themselves in the exciting world of acoustics and audio engineering. We welcome you to an environment where your ideas and contributions can shape the future of our Student Section and enrich the overall community.
