On the past Monday, August 27th, we had the honor of hosting a highly significant virtual event: the official presentation of the AES-TAMABA Student Section to newly enrolled students in the Technical Superior Sound and Recording program at TAMABA Tertiary Institute.
In this captivating event, we began by introducing each member of our board, composed of individuals deeply committed to the AES-TAMABA community: Nahuel Orellana (President), Ariadna Trotta (Vice President), Federico Gironelli (Treasurer), Emanuel Zanonni (Secretary), and Gustavo González (Academic Advisor). Subsequently, we conducted a detailed presentation outlining the scope, objectives, and goals of both the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and our own Student Section.
This virtual gathering served as a platform for enrichment and collaboration, extending beyond 60 minutes. During this time, we engaged in valuable discussions about ongoing projects and encouraged students to embark on new research endeavors within the exciting realms of sound and recording.
We emphasized the significance of active membership in AES, as it provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in a rewarding learning environment where they can gain practical experience, expand their network, and contribute to the continuous growth of the sound and recording industry.
