Summary

March has been an absolutely action-packed month for the Webster University AES Student Section! Each and every one of our officers worked hard to host the best Central Region Audio Student Summit to date. Topics of all kinds were covered such as beatmaking, running businesses, mastering, all kinds of workshops, and even tracking and recording local band Native State live. This was also our first-time hosting CRASS in Webster's newly renovated studio suite! Of course, a big thank you goes out to all 75 of our presenters, and all our attendees. Lastly, congratulations to our mix comp winners! Jamie Saylor placed 3rd, Jayden Palarz placed 2nd, and Alejandra Trabanco in 1st.

Other than the summit, the AES has been plenty busy with general meetings focusing on the importance of mono recording with AES Central Region Vice President Bill Schulenberg, and an introduction to AV/IT with Livella sales manager Rich Dumstorff.

All of us here at Webster look forward to taking a breather in April with the return of Movie Night featuring Mad Max and the Concert Series. Also, be on the lookout for our newly elected officers towards the end of April!

Thank you to our officers: Scooter Armstrong, LP Guterman, Brandon Just, Evan Florida, Rashid Tutu, Lucille Castelein, Leah Crowley, Julien Schilly, David Farnham, April Ojascastro, Andrew Jolly, Alejandra Trabanco, Bella Garrett, Rashell McDermott, Nick Santangelo, Allan Stacy, Mikail Sarich
