No chapter business was done at the meeting. The evening went like this.
4-5: Meet and greet social time.
5-6:45: Presentations from the above listed speakers
6:45-8: Social Hour and Tour of Host Studios
Meeting Location: Asheville, NC USA
This was the first event that the Carolinas chapter of the AES has held. It was a smashing success. This was primarily because of the organization of the social committee. Jay Harper, T Ervan, Jeff Carroll, and Dusty Uhrig planned this well. We had four guest speakers at the event three of them came from our ranks, and Steve Dunnigan spoke from Moog Music. Echo Mountain Studios was gracious enough to be our host. Talia Service and Jessica Tomsin were our representatives from the host. They were goddesses amongst women in their hospitality. It was really great to have such a positive energy at the place. Liz, our chair, gave a speech and gave a little history of how we made it to this point. The night could not have gone better.
