On the first date of the fifth day of scientific dissemination linked to audio, we began to put into practice our 2022-2023 research project, which consists of recording the impulse response of several campuses in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, ranging from a classroom of the TAMABA Tertiary Institute to a concert hall.
After the study meetings arranged first with Indio Gauvron and then with Andrea Farina to clarify doubts and make inquiries, we got down to work.
We have carried out some tests in classroom 3 of TAMABA to analyze, compare and interpret the data obtained from the impulse responses generated through two different methods.
On this occasion, the techniques for generating the impulses were through the external frequency sweep (sweep) and the detonation of balloons.
These data were presented in an introductory manner by our Teaching Advisor, Gustavo González, in the first shift of the second date of the V AES-TAMABA Congress.
We are currently processing the data obtained and looking for differences and similarities in the results obtained by both techniques. We also began to work on the planning to start measuring the classrooms of the Institute.
