Meeting Topic: Activities for second semester of 2022

After considering the names mentioned in the previous meeting, it was decided to contact both Lucy Patané (Tomy) and Edu Pereyra (Fede) to organize events with a theme related to musical production. The titles will be confirmed and the date will be after September to be able to dedicate these months to every aspect regarding the AES LAC Countdown and the LAC.
In addition, Julián proposed the idea of ??attending the Conference on Acoustics, Audio and Sound to be held on October 27 and 28 of this year at UNTREF (3 de Febrereo, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina), in order to meet and establish relationships with students and professionals from the world of audio and production. . The idea would be to make the most of the occasion to make contacts.
As part of our presentation in the block dedicated to the student sections of Argentina in the LAC, we decided to present Federico's work. It consists of creating a virtual instrument from scratch using samples of the EMC's upright and grand pianos. It will be led by Fede and will have Mauricio and Tomás as collaborating speakers. In any case, collaboration is open to the entire section. It remains to deliver to whom appropriate the necessary information to apply for the job before the deadline. As a title we thought of the following: "From the studio to your room: how to create your own virtual instrument".
Regarding an upcoming meeting, we leave it pending to talk later when and where we can hold it.
