Summary

It's been an exciting month for the AES student section here at Webster University! All of our officers had the opportunity to fly to New York for the 153rd Audio Engineering Convention. We enjoyed getting to know so many amazing presenters, exhibitors, and other students. It's always a great opportunity to learn and network with the best of the best and we hope to see many join us for the Central Region Audio Student Summit this March.

As for other events this month, we were happy to host Gabe Herman this month to talk about opportunities for students within the greater AES community as well as the student delegate association that goes with it. We also had a very informative meeting discussing the implement f audio in video games and how to go about making a career in that field.

This coming November, we are looking forward to our next Concert Series event on Friday the 4th as well as elections for Central Region Audio Student Summit officers. Lastly, the new studio space is still unavailable for students unfortunately, but we all look forward to those facilities coming online—a lot of amazing work has been put into them by everyone involved!
