Within the framework of the 2022 LAC international conference, the group presents the advances of the DIGRA absorption gradient diffuser project focused on small rooms that was presented for the first time last year under the name of BAD diffuser.
Theoretical model based on a plate with perforations on its front face by 1/3 of an octave, absorbing material inside, which generates a diffuse behavior of absorption gradient in the incidence of a sound wave that is included within the range of the design.
Specific measurements have been made in a small space such as a Davis LEDE type control room, the developments and conclusions will be proposed in our 2022 presentation this August.
