During the second week of September, the Latin American AES LAC 2021 Audioconference was held in Medellín, Colombia. Within this framework, the 2021 Student Recording Contest was held, and the Student Section was present with Category 2 works , Category 3, Category 4 and Category 5 presented by students Emiliano Busso, Emanuel Zanoni, Elian Dominguez and Mathias Vorrath.
On Tuesday, September 14, the member of the Section Elián Domínguez defended his work in the Category 4 Final "Sound for Audiovisual Media" and in which he obtained the Silver Medal.
That same day, the student Mathias Vorrath made the defense of his work before a panel of notable Category 5 "Remix" and also obtained the Silver Medal before a demanding Professional Panel.
