AES Belgium visits Premium Sound Solutions: Group picture
On Tuesday 19 November, the AES Belgium section facilitated a very special visit to the company headquarters of Premium Sound Solutions, in Dendermonde.
Premium Sound Solutions is a giant in loudspeaker manufacturing, and while you may not have heard of them (let alone know they are Belgium-based), you definitely know and probably own products they are featured in. Their list of clients includes dozens of car manufacturers, but also Google and Sonos.
The delegation was treated to a lightning talk on loudspeaker design, followed by a fascinating tour around the test labs, listening room and production line.
Both the hospitality and level of access were fantastic and we are incredibly grateful to our hosts for the opportunity.
The event ultimately embodied the spirit of the AES Belgium mission: to bring organisations and people in the field of audio together. Mission accomplished!
