After, we saluted our member Federico Lorenzo Martin, who won a Bronze Medal on the Acoustic Instruments Recording Mixing Competition on AES LATAM Montevideo. Congratulations Fede!
Meeting Location: Buenos Aires
We discussed the necessity to show our work at the end of the year -in December- on a special event here at AURAL Escuela. Group I will show their work on describing the Rumsey scene and their methods of analysis for a possible unidimensional and static construction of it. Group II will focus on a description of the new AES69 standard, making the necessary comments on the recording and perception of binaural signals, describing their methods and specially focusing on the front/back confusion. We discussed ways of modeling the Rumsey Scene as well as do some binaural recordings with a two-person chat front-back situation.
