Speaker(s): David Ivory, Director of Sound Recording and Music Technology at Montgomery County Community College

David Ivory will present an overview of the theory, technology, tools and aesthetic considerations used to drive a Dolby Atmos project from conception to completion. Having built a state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos facility at Montgomery County Community Colleges Advanced Technology Center, David is able to provide his students the invaluable hands-on knowledge and skill sets needed to pursue careers in audio engineering.
 
This will be the Philadelphia Sections first post-pandemic in-person meeting where the reality of Dolby Atmos can be experienced firsthand in a mix room setting.  For those unable to attend we'll stream the meeting at the link presented below.
