About

Rob Schlette is an audio mastering engineer at Anthem Mastering. His audio engineering career began in St. Louis, MO in 1995. After several years as a staff engineer in music facilities around the Midwest, Rob founded Anthem Mastering in 2008 to serve the Minneapolis music community. Today, Anthem Mastering provides specialized mastering services to clients from all over the U.S. and beyond.

In addition to his work in the studio, Rob is an experienced audio educator. He served on the music production faculty at McNally Smith College of Music in Minneapolis/St. Paul from 2001 to 2011, including 4 years as chair of that department. Rob has presented workshops and participated in panel discussions at dozens of AES events. Rob is currently the Treasurer of the St. Louis Section, and has served on several committees for that section.

Rob's background includes bachelor's degrees in Music and Computer Science, and a master's degree in Media Studies. As an information security specialist and IaaS cloud architect, Rob has built secure infrastructure for several music streaming services, and regularly does data security consulting in the media and entertainment industry.
