She is past vice chair of SC-04-04 (Microphone Measurement and Characterization) and enjoys working on a number of standards committees and working groups in audio and wireless. As an active participant on committees to influence wireless spectrum policy, Green has worked hand in hand with industry representatives and U.S. and foreign regulatory agencies. She is currently a member of the "6 GHz Multi-Stakeholder Group," working to support advanced wireless solutions around the world.
As VP R&D/Engineering at Audio-Technica U.S. Inc., Ms. Green contributed to many acclaimed projects before becoming President/CTO of Alteros, Inc., a technology company that launched several award-winning products into the high-end broadcast and audio markets. Currently, Green serves as Director for Nexonic, an engineering design and consulting firm, as a Technical Advisor to the UWB Alliance, and as VP Engineering for SubPac, a tactile audio company delivering new levels of bass and transducer performance and reproduction accuracy.
In 2020 Jackie Green was presented with the AES Fellowship Award for contribution to the sciences of microphone design and manufacture, microphone performance and measurement and for microphone and wireless microphone system education. Why Am I An AES Member?

I enjoy connecting, sharing with, and learning from others who are also passionate about great sound. Belonging to an organization that provides access to the kinds of research and technical expertise that can help guide and shape my own ideas is very valuable. AES also provides me an avenue to help others expand their knowledge base, to encourage the "next generations" of audio enthusiasts to choose this rewarding career path, and to "pay back" some of the guidance I received in pursuit of audio excellence.
