About

I am interested in audio as long as I can think of. Combining art, science and technology made broadcasting attractive for me. Early on I was drawn to surround sound, beginning my first test mixes in 1995 (documentaries). This has developped into a passion and constant source of involvement since. I do a lot of teaching and hold seminars arund the world, mainly about surround sound, but more recently also about loudness, where I chair the EBU-group P/LOUD. The AES has always been my main source for gear and knowledge, and I have made many friends over the years. Since 2004 I am involved with Convention Committees on a deeper level, chairing the broadcast sessions and shaping the program.
