Alessia Milo received a degree in architecture from Valle Giulia, Universitá di Roma “La Sapienza”, in 2011. After her professional activity as a licensed architect and parametric modeller with generative algorithms, she is currently pursuing her PhD in the Media and Arts Technology Programme at QMUL. Her research interests include innovative interdisciplinary methodologies to connect studies in acoustics, soundscapes and architecture, including interactive sonic e-textiles and the development of tools to capture spatial perception in the field.
