AnaMod LLC.
AnaMod will be demonstrating the new XF Tube 500 series processor. The XF Tube is a model based analog processor which emulates a two-stage tube and transformer amplifier. The XF Tube was created using the AnaMod Process™, which uses precise mathematical models to synthesize analog hardware, in this case, a tube amplifier. Unlike digital plug-ins or processor-based outboard gear, there is no latency, and no A/D or D/A conversions to compromise the sound. AnaMod will also demo the previously released AM670 and AM660 Limiters, recreations of the classic Fairchild limiters, and the ATS-1 Analog Tape Simulator, which models the behavior of specific tape machines and tape formulations using analog hardware. Also on display is the Realios A9033 Mic Preamp, which derives its gain strictly from transformers, and the A9031 Mic Preamp (both distributed by AnaMod), an exact copy of the vintage Dick Swettenham Helios design as modified and used by Lenny Kravitz and Henry Hirsch.

API - Automated Processes, Inc.
API (booth #720) will display a 64 channel Vision Surround Production console, a 32 channel 1608 Console, as well as API’s full range of signal processing modules. Debuting at the show will be the new API CHANNEL STRIP, a full-featured single rack space processing channel. The unit features a 512C mic/line/instrument input, a 527 compressor/limiter, a 550A equalizer and level adjustable 325 channel fader/amplifier output buffer with soft mute. All these sections have back panel input and output insert points. The Channel Strip puts a single channel of API console processing in a cost effective package.

Cloud Microphones
The JRS-34-P Passive Ribbon Microphone, named in memory of Jon R. Sank (1934-1998), was designed by his son, Stephen Sank. Steve’s father, Jon R. Sank, was Harry Olson’s successor at RCA’s* microphone division from the late 50’s through the early 70’s. Jon was instrumental in the design and production of RCA’s BK-11 and other world-class ribbon microphones. When RCA closed its microphone division in 1974, Jon left with a lifetime of tools and knowledge which he passed on to his son, Steve. Today, Steve and his wife Cynthia continue the family tradition of developing quality hand crafted ribbon microphones.

Coleman Audio QS8 Control Room Monitor The monitor path is passive, 2 stereo inputs, a stepped attenuator & 2 speaker outputs. Cue Mix A cue input has a level control & Aux #3 has a level control mix & form the stereo cue. The cue master level control feeds your headphone amp. Splitting the mic pre-amp output & sending 1 to the DAW & the other to the Aux#3 eliminates any latency issue in the headphone mix. Communication The talkback mic has a level control & switch. There is a jack on the back panel for a remote talkback switch. Engineer headphone The engineer’s headphone has a level control and a switch to select the stereo cue mix or the summing mix output. Analogue Summing Box The control room monitor signal has 3 audio sources Aux #1, Aux #2, or the Mix. The Mix position turns the QS8 into a analogue summing box. All four stereo inputs Aux #1, #2, #3 & the cue input are summed together & sent to the control room monitors & to the Mix Output XLR's to record a mix track.
