A New Vertical Storage Automatic Disc Playback System

Due to the popularity of 12" stereo LP records, the automatic changer mechanism described in this paper was developed to provide maximum program storage and random access flexibility. This paper touches on problems encountered in basic turntable drive systems, suspension systems, and describes some novel features of the design.
