To obtain a very stable response in the whole range of operating conditions combined with high acoustic output, the authors designed a current-controlled vented-box loudspeaker system. To overcome the drawbacks of current control-response under damped and sensitive to the mechanical parameters-motional feedback was implemented with a secondary coil sensing the velocity. The authors checked that a vented system was applicable.:
