Integrating Audio and Communication

Document Thumbnail

Audio and communications have similar building blocks making integration for cost reasons very attractive. If you look at the history of Desktop Audio and Desktop Communications you will find similar migrations. The new "soon to be named" motherboard standard connector for Audio and Communications insures they are together forever. Optimized designs for this new form factor will be discussed. The effects of this architecture lower digital noise levels and enable high quality audio and communications. The reasons for the changing Desktop Architecture will be discussed.
