Developing Real-Time Motorola's DSP5636x Audio Systems Using the PC Parallel Port Interface
This paper describes a PC parallel-port hardware and software interface for the DSP5636x audio decoders. The hardware interface provides a cost-effective solution for digital audio development and reference system designs. The software interface provides testing for post-decoder processing phases (PPPs), as well as general-purpose drivers to create the DSP5636x's audio control applications in a real-time environment.
