The paper discusses the process of the direct research conducted by the author and a team of undergraduate sound designers from the University of Cincinnati to develop a Multichannel Audio Drama (MAD). The goal was to develop a clear methodology for future MAD productions and establish design methods for multichannel digital audio workstation development while producing the first installment of the MAD original series, "Mindseye."
