Filter Banks in Perceptual Audio Coding

This tutorial includes a discussion of commonly used filter banks from both the mathematical and applications points of view, concentrating on the relationship of the filter bank redundancy extraction and human perception. The talk will also mention other methods for increasing redundancy extraction, such as prediction or long-term predictors.
