Concatenating individual diffusers to form larger ones narrow their diffusion pattern into specific directions. A solution is proposed using modulation of existing diffusion structures with other sequences to achieve the desired diffusion pattern. The technique results in large-area diffusion structures that do not suffer from having narrowed diffusion patterns but can be implemented easily using existing diffusers.
