New Distributed Speech Reinforcement System in the Frederik's Church (the Marble Church), Copenhagen
The speech intelligibility in the Frederik's Church has been a problem due to its dome shape. The church volume is 32,000 m3, reverberation time is 8 s. The problem has been solved by the design of directivity horns and a distributed loudspeaker system divided into electrical zones with 160 loudspeaker cabinets for 500 seats.
