Split Cascode Microphone Amplifier

A microphone amplifier is described which addresses shortcomings of a conventional remote microphone working over long cables. Little degradation of a square wave is obtained, giving a flat frequency response. Good common-mode rejection is a particular feature. The system is self-powered and uses standard interconnect cable.
