A High-Efficient Pulse-Density Modulation Audio Power Amplifier
This paper describes a high-efficient, pulse-density modulation (PDM) audio power amplifier. In comparison with the conventional Class-B amplifier which has the same maximum output power, the PDM amplifier is ultra-compact (20%) in size, is 2.3 times as efficient, has a high audio performance, has the same THD and signal-to-noise ratio, and shows low-spurious radiation.
