Real-Time Equalizer Coefficient Realization with Minimized Computational Load and Distortion

This paper examines the performance and costs of discrete-time filter/equalizer coefficient realization techniques. Critical attention is paid to minimize filter response distortion and the computational load of the mapping for online calculation. The auditory significance of these distortions is objectively considered. Optimal coefficient realization techniques are proposed.
