An Integrated Audio Conversion System for Automotive and Home Theater Systems
The requirements for a complete digital audio conversion system for automotive and home theater sound systems are presented along with design specifications. An integrated solution containing three ADCs, six DACs, analog input multiplexer, S/PDIF receiver, volume control, digital de-emphasis filters, SPI and 12C-compatible control port, and configurable serial ports delivers a high performance yet efficient audio conversion system. When combined with a programmable DSP, a flexible solution for multiple applications is achieved.
