Digital Audio Broadcasting in Operation

In the United Kingdom, digital audio broadcasting has now moved out of the research laboratory into the studio and home. The demonstration systems have had to be upgraded to provide facilities for operational services. In carrying out these tasks, it has been necessary to include provision for control and routing of data as well as audio signals.
