Wavetable Matching Synthesis of Dynamic Instruments
This paper introduces a method for finding the minimal set of wavetables necessary to model the full pitch range of an instrument. The method extends a genetic algorithm-based method for matching individual tones. Results are given for the English horn, the trombone, and the Chinese erhu.
