A 2 Gram Phonograph Pickup System for Home Record Changers
While the art of high fidelity stereophonic disk reproduction has taken substantial strides during the past few years, similar advances have not always kept pace in the field of packaged phonographs sold for home use. The pickup system to be described is the culmination of an effort to create a stereophonic reproducing system for home phonographs which in all its aspects would approach or equal the standards attained in high fidelity reproducers. This paper describes some of the problems encountered in the development and design of such a pickup system, and its performance as a commercial product.
