Home Theatre is a developing market that has yet to establish the ground-rules that define what the consumer expects of it, and what form of system is likely to be of interest. Product developers and engineers should look at the market trends to see which of the technologies being proposed will be of interest to consumers and will fit in with the majority of domestic environments. This paper takes an overview of the Home Theatre market as it is changing in Europe, and particularly the UK.
