Linear-Phase Digital Audio Tone Control Using Multiplication-Free FIR Filter

Document Thumbnail

A new linear-phase FIR filter system for digital audio tone control applications is presented. The system is based on the multiplication-free fourth-order low-pass FIR filter. The arithmetic complexity of the system is very low. It only needs 24 summation operations per sample.
