Automatic Gain Switcher for Voice Intercoms
This paper describes an automatic gain switching circuit that permits a voice intercom to maintain effective communication in two directions simultaneously, using high levels of amplification in the speaking channel, but without feedback howl that would normally be encountered because of open microphones and loudspeakers at each location.
