A Simple Quality Rating System for Loudspeakers and Audio Systems

This paper proposes, for industry discussion, a method of rating a loudspeaker or a set to indicate to the customer its field of usefulness and, in a general way, the quality of sound reproduction it can deliver. The rating mark, such as -For Blue Diamonds,- is based on performance measurements and answers the question -How high is Hi-Fi?-
