The Total Surround Sound System (TSS System)

The development of digital audio technology and the High Definition Television (HDTV) opens the door to new ideas and establishing of new technological standards, which introduce us to the field of fundamental audiovisual perception. The Total Surround Sound System (TSS System, patents pending), as a possible technological standard for the future, has been presented in this paper in its basic form. It assumes a new method of multichannel sound reinforcement in future video cinemas, theaters, multipurpose halls, rock concert halls, discotheques, and the like. The paper also introduces a special TSS process as an integral part of the TSS System.
