Ever since the existence of loudspeakers, creative modeling synthesis has been used in addition to extensive and sophisticated methods of performance measurement. However, the final answer has eluded engineers for more than 50 years. This article will try to simplify modeling techniques as far as possible and combine them with some aspects of allometric design. If the resulting shape is correct, and first measurements look quite promising, diaphragm paper will finally encounter some serious rivals.
