The dynamic moving coil loudspeaker relays on a Lorentz law interaction between magnetic flux and current carrying conductors. Other types of transducers that may use electromagnetism or permanent magnets involve Coulombs` law dealing with forces between magnetically charged bodies. This paper will only be concerned with the Lorentz law interaction.
