Electroacoustic Simulation of Listening Room Acoustics: Psychoacoustic Design Criteria
The purpose of this paper is to describe the establishment of a set of objective and subjective criteria for the construction of an electroacoustic simulation setup. The setup is for use in a study of perception of timbre of reproduced sound in small and medium sized domestic rooms. The design criteria are mainly a result of psychoacoustic considerations based on a study of the literature. The implementation of the results is also discussed.
