This paper reviews the audio system of the Belgrade National Theatre, the largest project of this kind implemented in Yugoslavia. It contains a number of subsystems: a sound system for music playback and sound effects reproduction in big and small halls; microphone signals distribution from both stages; an inhouse sound recording studio; stage monitoring systems; a complex intercom system, etc. The paper also covers the electric power supply system with outside interference protection system and specific technologies of the various systems' installation. Also shown are the big hall main sound system parameters.
