Broadening the Area of Stereophonic Perception

Document Thumbnail

One of the current problems in stereophonic sound reproduction is the relatively narrow area of optimum audibility in conventional stereophonic systems. The new stereophonic system employing dipole loudspeakers described in this paper broadens the stereophonic listening area thereby effecting a substantial improvement in stereophonic perception anywhere in the room.
