Optimization Procedure for Computer Designing of Horn Loudspeaker

In this paper a procedure for the design of the horn loudspeaker is described. Optimal values of elements of the electrical equivalent circuit of the horn loudspeaker are calculated by the using of the Davidon-Fletcher-Powell optimization procedure, so that the response is previously determined. The horn is represented by the two-port network with ABCD parameters. The proposed procedure is applied to the mid-frequency horn loudspeaker.
